About Just Tournaments
Just Tournaments is a simple tool for running game-night and pickup tournaments: build a bracket, hand out QR codes, and let players check themselves in, report match results, and follow the live leaderboard from their own phones - no app install, and no account required for players. It's built for organizers running a tournament at a table, a con, or a small event, not for managing a season-long league.
The core experience - creating a tournament and running it for your group - is, and will stay, free.
How we use your data
We collect only what's needed to run your tournament:
- Organizers sign in with an email address and password to create and manage tournaments. We use that email for account confirmation, password resets, and occasional product updates (see below) - never to run ads or sell to third parties.
- Players don't need an account. Checking in just takes a first and last name and a random device cookie your browser already holds, so the app can recognize your phone again for your next game - it's not tied to your real-world identity.
- Match results, disputes, and standings exist to run the bracket and show the leaderboard - that's the whole point of collecting them.
The full breakdown of what's collected, why, and how long we keep it is in our Privacy Policy.
Running something bigger?
Planning a convention, a corporate event, or anything larger than a casual tournament? We offer fully managed events - a custom URL and branding, and Just Tournaments staff on-site to set up and run it, TVs and all. Email sales@justtournaments.com to talk about booking one.
